- This painting was a comic concept to show off our culture and traditions in the Tunisian streets as well as our history the red hat which called “kabous or chachiye” in the Tunisian mother tongue with also the Tunisian outfit “Jeba” which is not easy to understand for foreigners but mostly all of our tourists are obsessed with these manufactures , they try them on and take pictures and some pay money to keep these souvenirs. I wanted to capture these moments in a funny way to give meaning to the drawing and to insist on how important culture differences are , and how they should not be forgotten as long as we are living we should keep them flourishing too.
